FAQ

PAUL ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS

What are your rates?

My competitive rates are generally determined by such factors as:

I would suggest that you send me a query with details of your event for an accurate quote!

How long do you play?

I've had bookings as short as 1 hour to some as long as 6 hours! Obviously, the longer the booking is, the more breaks I will need to take. Generally speaking, I can handle up to 2 hours without a break.

Do you accept bookings outside of Toronto?

I'd be happy to consider your event outside of the city, but please note that this would result in additional fees and/or accommodations, depending on the location and duration of your booking.

Do you sing?

I perform instrumental solo piano music that is meant to be heard in the background to help you create your desired atmosphere.

What if my venue doesn't have a piano?

If your venue does not have a piano available for your event, I will be happy to make arrangements to bring a portable digital piano set-up that can sound incredibly close to a real piano.

Do you take requests?

I normally arrive at my bookings with pre-determined set lists to ensure a seamless flow of music throughout your event. My aim is to not be the centre of attention during your special day, and prefer to play subtly in the background.

If you have any specific song(s) that you'd like performed at your event, I ask that these details be provided at the time of your booking so that I can be properly prepared!

How can I book your services?

You can either fill in the contact form to reach me directly , or click on any GigSalad link found throughout this site. Their secure booking features will ensure that your event is handled properly!

Is there anything else I should know about you and your services?

I first started providing my cocktail piano services in 1995. It's been amazing to be included in so many peoples' milestones. I take that decision very seriously and always aim to provide "white glove service" to my clients. It all starts with clear communication from the beginning, right up to the day of your event. I also try to arrive at least 15 minutes early to be "ready to go" at the start of your booking time.
